Attached is
a three generation descendant chart for the Gegenheimers
in my family with vital statistics, beginning with
Mathias Gegenheimer. In this chart, Milton Wald and
Ruth Dettmer are my grandparents (my father's parents).
I also attached part of a letter received by my second
cousin James Fall during his genealogy inquiries, which
shows several burials of my Gegenheimer relatives. The
plot at All Faith's was purchased by Caroline (Ahr)
Gegenheimer, wife of George Frederick - one of Mathias'
sons. Several of George and Caroline's children are
buried here.
Thirdly, I've attached another photo I had in my family
documents titled simply "Great Grandmother Gegenheimer."
I believe this to be another photo of Margaret Wicker,
wife of Mathias Gegenheimer.
One connection I have not yet puzzled out, is it appears
that there is more than one Gegenheimer line in my
family. This is the trouble with internet genealogy
research. I've attached a pedigree chart for Margaret
Wicker, wife of Mathias. While I don't have any
additional information about Mathias Gegenheimer, it
appears as though she herself descends from Gegenheimers.
If you or anyone else recognizes these Gegenheimers I
would love to get in touch with cousins/relatives/etc,
or at least gather more information about the family
line.
