I just wanted to notify you and all the other family
descendants who read your web page of the new genealogical forum I just
found. It looks as though it was approved in June, and thus far has only
one entry.
Apparently the forum is monitored for interest, and
if there is no response within four weeks, the surname is terminated to
make room for others.
We have all been invited to contribute information
we have to the sight, as well as our queries, to get the ball rolling.
The more we use the sight, the more benefit it will be to all. The

http://www.genforum.com (Gegenheimer is the surname
that must be entered for access. All variations of the name Geckenheimer,
Geckenhaimer, Gahimer. . . .should submit their queries under this name.
I know you must be as excited as I am about this
opportunity, that is why I am writing to ask you to print the
information on your web sight so that all will have the opportunity to
know about the new resource.
