I found your "Gegenheimers of Ittersbach" site on the Internet
and am hoping you can help me. Several of my ancestral lines come from Ittersbach
including Finter, Kern and Kappler. I'm writing a history of Johann Philipp
Finter, born 13 March 1753, who became a master locksmith. One of his godparents was Johann Michael Gegenheimer, the mayor. I'd like to know if
there were any locksmiths in Ittersbach in the 1760's that he might have apprenticed with. I didn't find any, but I did find two blacksmiths, Johann
Philipp Karcher and Johann Michael Mohr near that time. Could you confrim
that? Have you published anything about Ittersbach on the Internet that I
might find intersting? Thanks for any help you can give me.
